Metanomia processes only the minimum personal information needed to send email updates when new reports and videos are published. We do not operate user accounts, and you may use all public content without requesting email updates.
The email update form on this site processes the following information.
We do not request your name, phone number, or payment information for email updates. Technical information that may be processed when you visit the site is described in section 6.
We do not use email addresses for advertising or reader profiling.
We retain the relevant information while you receive email updates. The “Stop receiving updates” link at the bottom of an email stops future delivery immediately.
After delivery is stopped, we may retain the email address and its stopped status until the service ends to prevent accidental re-delivery. To request complete deletion of the record, contact the address in section 9.
When the purpose of retention ends or a deletion request is confirmed, electronic records are deleted without delay using methods designed to prevent recovery. Information that must be retained by law is kept separately for the required period and then deleted.
Metanomia does not sell personal information and does not disclose it to third parties unless required by law or separately authorized by the individual.
We use the providers below to deliver email updates and operate the website. Information necessary for these services may be processed outside Korea as part of performing the services requested by the user.

You may avoid the international transfer associated with email updates by not entering an email address or by using the “Stop receiving updates” link in an email. This prevents email updates but does not affect access to public website content. You may avoid processing of technical access data by not using the site; without that data, the website may not be delivered.
Metanomia does not use visitor analytics cookies, browser storage, or a separate analytics tool.
When pages, fonts, and static files are delivered, hosting and content providers such as Vercel, Google Fonts, and jsDelivr may technically process IP addresses, request times and paths, and browser or device information. Metanomia does not combine this information into separate user profiles.
You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of processing of your personal information at any time.
